Round table “Europe and the world order in the conditions of the russian-Ukrainian war: the unification of the West and the division of the rest”

On May 16, 2023, the Center for European Studies held a Round table “Europe and world order in the conditions of the russian-Ukrainian war: uniting the West and dividing the rest” as part of the XXVIII student-teacher conference “Days of Science of the National University “Ostroh Academy””.

 

Tetiana Sydoruk, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations, National University of Ostroh Academy, a participant in the EURoCoPR project:

“* About the crystallization of the European identity of Ukraine;
* strengthening of the collective West and US leadership within it;
* the strengthening of the North Atlantic Alliance, which is expanding, and the European Union, which looks to the future;
* large-scale assistance to Ukraine from European partners with weapons, finances, training of the Ukrainian military, and shelter for refugees;
* the inevitable collapse of Russia, which is mired in a witch’s brew of history, geopolitics, and the personal ambitions of the dictator there;
* China’s attempts to fit the war into its vision of the regional and international order;
* separation from the rest of the world.
This, and more, was discussed at the round table of the Center for European Studies “Europe and world order in the conditions of the russian-Ukrainian war: uniting the West and dividing the rest” as part of the Science Days 2023 at the National University of Ostroh Academy.
